After almost a week of having no internet connection, we're back on line at last.

Hooray, get the bubbly open, normal service has been resumed.
I never knew I would miss it so much and a mere week seems like an age.
Or as the song says
you don't know what you've got til it's gone.

  1. Hi Jean, Welcome back! How nice to read you again! I was really beginning to miss you. Looking forward to new posts about your recent stay in LGP!

  2. So let's hope they don't pave paradise and put up a parking lot...........
    Good to have you back.

  3. It is like having your right arm cut off. I was only off for two days before they came and fixed my line and it seemed like a year. As I use Skype for all my phone calls it made it even worse!! That bubbly looks good can I join you? Glad you are back. Diane

  4. I hate when that happens. Welcome back!

  5. Your link for Joni Mitchell takes me back to the 70's when Blue and a double album called Miles of Aisles got me through uni, along with Dylan, James Taylor, Leonard Cohen and Jackson Browne. Thinking about it, the same music still gets me through today!!

  6. Gaynor - it's interesting how the music of our youth stays with us. For me it was a mix of John Mayall, Joni Mitchell, Otis Redding, Dusty Springfield and The Supremes.
I find it amusing to think of today's youth listening to something like the Arctic Monkeys in their fifties !
