Last month the Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair was held at Hardwick Hall, not far from us. It was a huge event and we had a great day out.

Anything that has food and drink has to be good !!! :-) Diane
Looks like great fun. One of these days we will be able to travel in the UK. We have a dog's life to get through first.
Loved those cheeseboards! But what about those cupcakes! Made my mouth water just to look at them!
It sounds like a perfect day. Cheese, sausages and cupcakes... what's not to like?!
looked great and £3.50 for the entry fee! Fab. I blogged about wanting to go to the Bakewell Show last year but the £15 entry fee put me off. Looks like you had a good day.
Hello:What an enterprising event this looks to have been and, as you say, with a modest entrance fee it does make it an affordable luxury.Such a wide variety of food and drink. We are sure that you must have been tempted to buy so much as it all looks delicious and so beautifully presented. We have found your blog through Craig and are so pleased to have arrived. We look forward to reading more of your French house as we know very little about that particular region of France.
Thanks to all for taking the trouble to look at my (sadly neglected) Derbyshire blog.Jane and Lance - welcome and I hope you continue to enjoy reading the blog.
