KNOCK, KNOCK

We arrived for our October holiday on the Saturday afternoon.

flowers

On the Sunday morning there was a little tap, tap on the door.  Nick opened the door and there was no-one there, just a beautiful bunch of flowers left on the doorstep.

  1. Knock, knock.
    Who's there?
    Canoe.
    Canoe who?
Canoe come to the door and get a beautiful bouquet of flowers?

Those are beautiful flowers, and a wonderfully friendly gesture.

  7. Rob - great poem !!

Walt - it makes my heart sing, every time it happens.

The Broad - we are so lucky.

    Meredith - it's so thoughtful.

C&E - flowers speak more than words sometimes.

Gaynor - it was Mme André. She leaves us many little presents every holiday - she's so sweet and such a wonderful neighbour.

Ken - five holidays totalling seven weeks so far this year, with Christmas to come yet. Plus a long weekend for Nick by himself. We haven't been anywhere else for a holiday for four years.
