It’s the day of our annual charity cake stall for Children in Need.
This is about half of the cakes we had to display.
But you’ll have to be quick, it will all be gone by teatime !!
Mmmmm could eat a slice of that chocolate cake please. Diane
Was Marie Antoinette there or maybe she preferred Brioche!!!
bloody hell... puts my donated cakes for our open day to shame..... is it a french thing but do the french bake BIGGER CAKES? than us brits
Yes - please! Yum, they look delicious.
They look fabulous! Now that's my idea of a well-set tea table. I'll have a slice of each, please.Which one(s) are yours, Jean?
Oh my goodness! My mouth is watering from so many different directions... How on earth can you decide which one to have?
It all looks delicious. Wish I were there. Hope you make lots of money!
A wonderful display of cakes for a very worthy cause. I'd certainly buy some. Bravo!
UPDATE - We made £650 for Children in Need, with more to come in from orders taken out to local businesses, so we should beat last year's total of £690.However, I never thought that making and selling so many cakes could be such hard work.....my dream of one day opening a cake/bead shop is now slightly tarnished !!There were 35 different choices of cakes plus sausage rolls and other savouries - not bad for just five ladies, plus a couple of family helpers to do the baking !!
oh what a great result! :-) The cakes look scrumptious!
oooooooh la la! they do look good!
