Just back from a great week in Le Grand Pressigny, where we had a few surprises including wonderful weather (mostly).
Whilst I get stuck into the mountain of washing and other stuff that now surrounds me I thought you might like a little puzzle or two.
Yes, but I won't spoil this for your other readers.
ReplyDeleteGlad to read that you had a good break.
Gaynor, you would only know if you had been there !!
DeleteI hope you have a great time too.
Not to far from us!!! as a clue... If we had known, you could have cut our grass it was 30cm high yesterday when we got home... Glad you had a good break, see you soon.
ReplyDeleteWe passed the end of your road and could see the grass waving from there !!
DeleteWe obviously crossed on the motorways as you went south and we went north.
Glad you had such a great time, Martine. Looking for more updates on your trip!
ReplyDeleteHi Broad, we did indeed and there will be lots of posts about it......assuming I get the washing and ironing done before we go back again !!
DeleteI have no idea, but I love it (although I'm a bit concerned with where that tree appears to be tucked). Can't wait to learn about this place!
ReplyDeleteAnd, thanks for the memories of the "Teddy Bear's Picnic," which I know can't get out of my head.
Mitchell, I confess that thought did enter my mind too, briefly. And I now wish you hadn't mentioned the teddy bears' picnic song.......
DeleteAnd you must know that I know too. It's a great place that I would recommend to anyone as a day out if you like history, gardens and whimsy.
ReplyDeleteSusan, whimsy describes the place very well, I think.

Spo, you definitely would not want to be there at night.....spooky !!
DeleteI guess it has to be in the Loire somewhere but where is a mystery to me! Diane
ReplyDeleteYou were on your way back from this place when I called you on Sunday evening. But I know where it is because I have been there many years ago. :) Did you throw a bonbon in the wishing well and wish for your blog friends to have a rainless party on Wednesday? If you did, it worked!! Thanks! Martine x
