I was unable to resist buying some lovely pink rhubarb last weekend, the sort that comes from the “rhubarb triangle” in Yorkshire. With it I made something called a “slump”.
As I type ...my version is in the oven - No oranges handy so used clementines for juice and lemon zest - also a bit of preserved ginger chopped fine . Looks good through the oven door
This reminds me... that I must make the triangular beds for the three rhubarbs... and recover the ones in the verger before the ragondins get to them. I'll now go to the recipe page...
Given that I've just spotted pink rhubarb coming in our garden and the fact that we love cobblers, we'll be trying this. Thanks.
