A DAY OUT IN DERBYSHIRE

day out in Derbyshire

Spending Spring Bank Holiday at home for the first time in years has been a revelation.  Apart from the weather.  It rained, as it always used to when we did spend the weekend here.

More later.

  1. Hello Jean,

Oh dear, we can so well identify with the rainy Bank Holidays of Britain. Always guaranteed to put a damper on things. But, still, your amusing sign must have brought out a smile......it did for us...!

  2. I don't know if it will make you feel any better to know that it has rained almost all day here. I sat in the hangar planting up a window box and listening to the rain hammering on the corrugated iron. In the end I retreated, half frozen. I have a cold frame full of plants needing to go out and I'll have to dress up like a trawlerman to do it. Fisherman's Friend, me.
