R.I.P.

Nick's mum

Nick’s mum passed away yesterday evening at 8pm.  She was ninety one years old and this photo shows her on her 90th birthday.

Nick’s dad was a vicar and she was devoted to him and his work.  He died ten years ago and she will be buried with him in the village where they have lived since he retired.

My thoughts are with Nick, his sisters, and the family and friends who supported his mum during the last few years and will miss her.

  7. Sympathy to you all. From the look of that photo her mind was bright to the end and that is something to be very thankful for.

looking at the picture, she looked a wonderful, bright cheery person...
but it will leave a hole...
so fill it with the happy times and celebrate a dedicated life!

  10. Pass on our thoughts to Nick from Sue and I. I've heard it said that with the passing of your parents that you feel like an orphan. Fortunately for many of us we become so late in life while having the wonderful experience of loving parents well into our adulthood.

  13. Rest peacefully in life and death. For Time gave Laughter and now gives Mourning for a mother and a friend. She gave Nick joy and a time to dance and now gives a time to weep. She will be remembered for all that she gave and blessed. Be brave. In Sympathy. Take care. Rif.
