As more and more land is developed and woods are bulldozed, the deer really have nowhere to go. And over there, there aren't as many hunters as there are here in France.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4785675986457392622.post-41726985669296447992016-12-05T21:02:44.457+00:002016-12-05T21:02:44.457+00:00In our new life here in rural Victoria. We love looking out the window and seeing perhaps a dozen of them grazing...especially when the little fawns are there in the spring. But they are very destructive, chewing on hedges, etc. As a matter of fact, the nurseries usually label plants with 'deer resistant' because it's a constant problem with which homeowners have to deal.
One does to have to keep in mind that the deer were here first, though.
Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04335063080532127542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4785675986457392622.post-11097377942607673602016-11-30T17:20:32.885+00:002016-11-30T17:20:32.885+00:00We find we like having both the time in France and...We find we like having both the time in France and getting back to the UK.
