POTENTIAL

In need of a lick of paint, but could be cosy.

  1. I see from the projecting key stones to the right that they intended extending it when they had a bit more money, but settled on cheaper materials.

    1. Tom, judging by our experience of house hunting in France, it could just be the bit on the left that's for sale, you can never tell, but it would make a nice fishing hut as it was right by the river.

  2. Being 'right by a river' these days is usually not a selling point! I guess if you're into boating fishing or swimming it could come in handy though.

  3. Looks to me as though it needs more than just 'a lick of paint'.

    1. William, it's one of those houses that I really would have liked to peek inside. It could be like a tardis....probably not !!

  5. Honestly - it's in better nick than the ruin I bought in West Wales thirty years ago... finally got there this weekend (post lockdown) and I'm not moving unless they drag me away... I love it here and we'll be moving permanently shortly (well, between here and France when we're allowed). But boy, did it take some vision all those years ago.
