Many years ago we bought a little house in a small medieval village in the Touraine region of France as a holiday home. Seven years later we downsized in England in order to upsize in France and spend more time there. We moved out of our pretty little cottage beneath the château with the terrace overlooking the rooftops of the village, and into an old farmhouse in the middle of a field. When not in France we live in the north of England.
