Whilst in Wales I have been able to pursue one of my favourite pastimes - taking pictures of doors and windows.
Here are some recent ones. Some were taken in France this year and some in Wales. Can you tell which are which? Extra brownie points if you recognise them and can actually say where they are!
2 Conway, Wales
4 Criccieth, Wales
7 Plas Newydd, Isle of Anglesey
* All the French ones were taken in Montrésor. Congratulations to those who got the right answers.
French, Welsh, French, Welsh, French, French, Welsh.ReplyDelete

I know just what you mean. The barn door next to our house in the village had obviously been repaired with the lid of a sardine tin!Delete
Now I would have said the first one was French...... Diane xReplyDelete
What a great idea. I love the archetype of doors and what they conjure up in our minds and fantasies. Please post more doors - and anything you find through them.ReplyDelete
I agree with you, it's not just the beauty of doors but the mystery of what's behind that fascinates.Delete
More doors definitely coming up!
(Maybe I should do a door day every week, like some people have a "silent Tuesday" or similar. That should take several years to get through all my photos.)
