    1. Michael, the château is around 1,000 years old, first being built in the early 12th century.

      We first stumbled across the village in 2007 and we bought the little house "au pied du château" in November that year, fifteen years ago. How time flies.

  2. That tower looks like a minaret to me.

    1. The tower used to be open to the public. The view from the top is spectacular, according to many of our friends who visited it before it closed, which was not that many years ago, but sadly before we became acquainted with the village.
